A Note From Our Founder
I started Y21 because I wanted to create clothes that carry the same ease and joy I feel when I travel. There is something about being away, the lightness and curiosity of exploring new places, that makes you feel more present and connected to yourself. I wanted to capture that feeling and bring it into everyday life.
In my mind, I always pictured a woman who moves freely between places. She might be wandering through a new city or walking to her favourite café at home, collecting little moments, textures, and inspirations along the way. She is grounded yet curious, polished yet relaxed.
Over time, I realised how much our lives have changed. We no longer live in separate worlds of work, weekends, and vacations. Everything flows together now, and I believe our wardrobes should reflect that rhythm. I wanted to design clothes that move with us through all these moments, pieces that feel effortless, refined, and timeless.
That vision became Y21, a women-led resort wear brand that brings a sense of calm and polish into everyday life. We design with intention, creating smaller and more thoughtful collections. Whenever possible, we reuse production offcuts to reduce waste and make clothes that truly last. Each piece is meant to be lived in, travelled with, and loved for a long time.
To me, Y21 is more than a wardrobe. It is a feeling of ease, a quiet confidence, and a reminder to be at home in your own skin wherever life takes you.
